The bentwood work is superb.
The teak structure was completely sanded and then oiled.
We reupholstered the seats with ecru fabric, which gives them a lot of elegance.

A word about the designer:
Arne Vodder was born in 1926 in Denmark. He trained as a cabinetmaker and architect at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and graduated in 1947.
Vodder is best known for his clean and elegant furniture designs, made from natural materials such as rosewood and teak. His pieces are often inspired by natural forms, and sometimes accented with vibrant colors.
As a side note, between the 1950s and 1970s, furniture designed by Arne Vodder was used by President Jimmy Carter at the White House, by President Anwar Sadat in Cairo, and even at the United Nations Office in Geneva.
