4 Cesca B64 armchairs by Hungarian designer and architect Marcel Breuer.
They are made of chromed metal (for the tubular structure), beech and caning (for the seat and backrest).
We love the unique feature of this chair, which lies in its balance. Calculations of weight and cantilever were necessary to design this iconic chair.
Designed in the late 1920s, these chairs with armrests are still as modern as ever.

4 B64 armchairs with armrests by Marcel Breuer
The Cesca B64 armchair is a chair designed in 1928, a few years after its larger sibling, the B32, a model very similar to it. Both are iconic pieces by Marcel Breuer.
The B64 armchair has two armrests and therefore a unique curve. This is the main difference between the two vintage chairs.
Indeed, both seats are made from a single steel tube. The B32's tube extends to the top of the backrest and stops abruptly there. For the B64 model, Breuer opted for a tube fixed approximately halfway up the backrest.
This unique curve extends towards the front of the chair, forming sublime armrests. This rounded design gives the armchair a combination of robustness, minimalism, and comfort.
