Wonder Agral burgundy lamp restored by Les Belles Vies.
After finding the lamp, we sandblasted it, cleaned it, degreased it, applied a coat of primer, several coats of paint and varnish, then we added the electrical system.
Each lamp is unique.

More information:
These vintage Wonder brand lanterns were very popular with the general public during World War II, and some government agencies also used them. What made these lanterns so popular was their long battery life for the time, especially during World War II when power outages were frequent.
Another, smaller model of the Wonder lamp was part of the official military equipment of French soldiers during World War II. This one contained a blackout shutter and a filter system to emit green or red light. It also had a button to emit light signals (Morse code).
The lanterns used by the SNCF are recognizable because they are all stamped with the company logo.
The SNCF-branded lamps we restore contained a switch that activated a translucent red filter; they were installed in driver's cabs and were called "onboard lamps." We removed the filter, which was incompatible with the lamp's modernization, and we have kept the switch on the front.
